Air Force Center – the fascination of old and modern technology
Air Force Center Dubendorf is providing ground infrastructure and services for the First Swiss Parabolic Flight Campaign. All ground-based events of the First Swiss Parabolic Flight Campaign will take place in the famous aviation museum of the Air Force Center, where the history of Swiss military aviation and defense aircraft literally comes alive. In over 40 aircraft and helicopters you can literally see how fast technology has changed, from the wooden biplane to the interceptors flying at sonic speed. The two huge halls of the museum are showing the development of the Swiss Air Force since its inception and examples of anti-aircraft defense systems. The Air Force Center is also the homebase of JU-AIR, giving many people the opportunity to enjoy unique flying experiences on board its four Junkers Ju-52 oldtimer airplanes.
